Carly and Matt first met through mutual friends at least 8 years ago. They would see each other at parties and participate in the Tough Mudder and Warrior Dash races together over the years as friends.

Flashforward to December 2019 when everything started to change! At a Christmas party, a friend (Stacey Johannes) played matchmaker. (Thank you Stacey!) She was confident that they would be great together, and encouraged both Carly and Matt that they should give it a go. And that's exactly what happened next. They had their first date a few weeks later, and made it official after their best friends' wedding (Dan & Jess).

The rest is history!

Since this wonderful journey began, Carly and Matt have built a life full of love together. They are each other's rocks through all of life's adventures. They work hard to create the future they want together. Carly and Matt are eager for this next chapter in their lives and are grateful to everyone who played a role in this love story.

A fun bonus to this love story took place back in 2012 when Carly worked at Apollo Childcare Center, where Matt's nephew Henry attended daycare when he was only one year old. Now Henry is standing up in their wedding as Junior Groomsman!
